Long lasting
A clean surface will normally only remain clean till the next contaminated contact.
Choose one of the new sanitisers which will keep the surface clean for longer. |
 |
| |
|
Sufficient quantity
All products should be used liberally to give the greatest protection. Buy sensible sized products which will last before, during and after your stay in hospital e.g. 250ml bodywash. Used properly each shower will use 10 – 15 ml of bodywash. |

Antibacterial, antimicrobial, antiviral or sporicidal?
Almost any antibacterial will kill 99.9% of bacteria such as MRSA but they MAY NOT protect you from viruses, fungi or spores. You can choose a sporicidal product which will protect you from C. difficile spores. Choose a virucidal to protect against swine, avian or human flu virus.
Some products protect against bacteria, spores, viruses and fungi all at the same time. These are in use in some hospitals and healthcare establishments and are now available for you to buy on this site. |
